NEOED

platform (pronounced neo-ed), is a workforce management system. This new platform will modernize how HR and University departments interact with our current, future and potential employees. NEOED is an official partner of Ellucian and will integrate with the Ellucian Banner software in use across the institution. Andrews University has had the exciting opportunity to partner with Ellucian and NEOED in developing this new integration.

There are multiple modules in this platform that most employees will interact with over the course of their employment life cycle.

  • INSIGHT/Online Hiring Center (OHC): This module offers a total recruiting solution that includes job descriptions, position requisitions, job postings and applicant management from receipt of application through all steps of the hire workflow.
  • ONBOARD: Beginning as soon as the new hire accepts their offer, this module allows new employees to complete onboarding tasks, including electronic paperwork, before their first day. Generated checklists allow new employees, departments and HR to engage in the onboarding process. A welcome portal and possible sub-portals will help the new employee become familiar with the institution and resources available to them for a year after their initial hire.
  • LEARN: This online training module will serve as our employee learning platform, with tools to create online training sessions, access a rich training library and track training completed in person or through third parties. Learning plans can help to ensure new hires complete all required training, and managers can design professional development for their employees.
  • PERFORM: This employee evaluation system provides both traditional and innovative ways to engage with employee performance and goals throughout the year. This module will allow for robust multi-directional engagement between managers, employees and invited interested parties.
  • eFORMS: This electronic form and workflow system will be used for employee paperwork throughout the employment life cycle.

will be launched through phased rollouts, with LEARN being introduced first. Watch for future announcements and trainings as we roll out each module.
