Education
Dean Alonso is an alumnus of Andrews University, where she earned a B.S. in Health/Psychology with an emphasis in Substance Abuse. She also holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Indiana University at South Bend.
Biography
Born in India, Dean Alonso immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of ten and grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois. Her passion for helping others began in her teenage years, leading her to work in various roles, including at Hinsdale Hospital’s Substance Abuse Unit, Madison Center & Psychiatric Hospital (now Oak Lawn), LECO corporation and most recently, as a HUD Property Manager at Timber Ridge Manor. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to problem-solving and implementing solutions in diverse settings. Dean Alonso is married to her high school sweetheart, David Alonso, and they have three wonderful daughters. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cross-training, and traveling.
